Let’s see how to Download Torrents straight to Google Drive, without actually using any data!

1. Google Account with Google Drive and Google Colab accessible.
What is the purpose of this?
- Because Google Servers’ speed is much faster than most of our connections.
- Because it is in the cloud, files can be accessed anywhere.
Time needed: 5 minutes.
Steps to Follow
- Go to the GitHub repository
Open the link Torrent-To-Google-Drive-Downloader, and read the whole README.MD properly. Understand the risks, and if you agree, move ahead, and click button.
- Install libtorrent and initialize Session
Run the first cell to install libtorrent package and initialize a session to work with.
- Mount your Google Drive
Run the second cell to mount your Google Drive in colaboratory. Follow the link, then click allow, and paste the authorization code in the box provided. If successful, you will get the message about your drive being mounted.
- Add Torrent files or Magnet Links
Run the third cell for uploading torrent files, or the fourth cell, to save torrent using magnet link. You can run both cells as many times as you require to generate a list of torrents to be saved to your drive.
- Start Downloading files!
Run the last cell to start downloading files to drive. To note, none of your data will be used for downloading.
Further, all downloads will be saved to a “Torrents” folder inside your Drive.
