Samsung commits a blunder, pulls back Galaxy S20 FE update!

Samsung recently released an update of OneUI 3.1 for the Galaxy S20 FE amongst other devices, but it looks like Samsung had to pull back the update due to bugs!

Although Samsung didn’t release any official statement, as reported by SamMobile, the update is not available though either OTA or through Smart Switch. There are speculations that Samsung may have stopped the rollout due to bugs. Some users are said to have reported performance and battery-related issues.

Samsung will probably resume the rollout once the bugs get fixed, and that should happy fairly soon. If you are one of those who really wanted to try the new OS update, you have to be patient and wait for sometime as Samsung devs finish out ironing the bugs!

For the uninitiated, Galaxy S20 FE launched last year with Android 10 out of the box. It received the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update in December and is among the Samsung devices that will get OS upgrades and security updates for three years.

What are you views about this? Should Samsung have held itself accountable like Xiaomi? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
