OnePlus launched their much awaited OnePlus 9 Pro a few days ago, and it seems that the device didn’t live up to its hype at all! Let’s have a look at what the users a complaining about the brand’s latest flagship!
According to the issue being faced by a majority of users, the device gets intolerably hot, and feels scalding to the touch! In some cases, the device turns so hot that it is rendered completely useless and nothing works, basically, a temporary soft brick!
Some 9 Pro owners have reported that their phone started displaying an error message that reads “The temperature of your device is currently too high, please pause shooting [sic] for a while to bring it down,” or “Unable to take pictures as the phone’s temperature is too high,” when they tried capturing 4K videos or shot multiple photos. The issue seemingly messes up with the camera recordings as well! While the root cause is not yet clear, OnePlus has already started issuing updates for the device to improve the user experience. But as in CyberPunk’s case, the reputation once gets damaged, there’s no going back.
We advise you to hold on from buying OnePlus 9 Pro at the moment, and wait for us to post if the issues get fixed.
