Realme has been known to launch new devices every now and then, and now their “Quicksilver” device has been leaked onto TENAA! Read more about Realme is launching a mysterious device with a high-end chipset at the link below!
According to a post by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, a device with the model number RMX3366 running on a SD778G has been spotted on TENAA, a certification website. This indicates that this is indeed the “Quicksilver” device that was mentioned by Realme at the launch of Qualcomm’s SD778G SoC.
For the uninitiated, Snapdragon 778G was announced a few weeks back. It is an eight-core chipset with one Kryo 670 CPU with one prime core clocked at 2.4GHz, followed by three Cortex A78 cores at 2.2GHz and four efficient Cortex A55 cores at 1.9GHz. It is coupled with Adreno 642L GPU, which is said to deliver up to 40% better graphics.
According to the Weibo post, the device will come with a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED screen and high refresh rate. This might indicate that we can get a 120HZ or 90Hz refresh rate, but there is no confirmation regarding that as of now.
Furthermore, the device is said to come with a 4,500mAh battery. The TENAA certification suggests the device will also come with Android 11 out of the box which will be based on Realme UI 2.0.
Going by the leaks, the device will be in the Realme X series line-up, or even Realme 9 line-up. This means that the device will be a mid-range device and a related price as well. What do you think of this device? Will you buy it if it launches? Especially after Realme’s fiasco of releasing broken kernel source codes? Let us know in the comments below!
