Instagram has been a mobile-focused app since the beginning and its desktop counterpart lacked most basic functionality, but all that is set to change now!
The new functionality is currently in internal testing, and will take some time to be released to the general public, but we have got a basic idea of how its supposed to work, thanks to the latest leaks.
The PC/Desktop version of Instagram will now allow you to directly create posts from the app itself, and you can use the simple drag-and-drop interface that we all have loved. Also, you can add filters and the usual editing tricks, so that you can ensure your post looks up to the mark!
As can be seen, the posting utility now allows you to crop in certain aspect ratios, tag your friends, add text, add overlays of various filters and more!
